Sylvia Morris, a vibrant and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home in Gunnison on Aug. 15, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on July 19, 1934, Sylvia embraced life with an enduring warmth, a sharp wit, and an unmistakable spark that brightened every room she entered. Over more than nine decades, she built a rich and full life centered on family, laughter, and the simple joys of everyday moments. Sylvia had a gift for making everyone around her feel valued and loved, creating traditions, sharing stories, and leaving behind a treasure trove of cherished memories. Her greatest pride and joy was her family. Sylvia is survived by her two devoted daughters, Brenda and Bobbie, who carry forward her spirit and strength. Her legacy continues to flourish through her seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense happiness and endless reasons to smile.
Sylvia lived a long, beautiful life marked by love, resilience, and connection.
