On Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, Mike Henkel lost his battle with cancer, leaving behind a family who loved him beyond words and a lifetime of memories that will be treasured forever.
Mike lived an amazing life filled with love, laughter, and moments that made life so special. He had a way of making us laugh every single day, loving us with his whole heart, and giving us endless reasons to be proud of the man he was.
Mike was a devoted husband to his wife, Jenny Henkel, and a loving father to his children, Sean and Kelly Henkel. His family was his heart, and the love he gave them was immeasurable. He had a gift for making those around him feel loved, bringing laughter into even the hardest days, and creating memories that will live on forever.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Jenny Henkel; his children, Sean and Kelly Henkel; and his parents, Mike and Chris Henkel and Eileen Donahue. He also leaves behind family and friends whose lives are better for having known and loved him.
While our hearts are broken by his passing, we are forever grateful for the life he lived, the laughter he brought into our lives, and the love he gave so freely. There are no words big enough to express how much he meant to us or how deeply he will be missed. His love will remain with us forever.
Please join us in celebrating Mike’s life on Jan. 9, from 1 to 4 p.m., at 11616 Shaffer Place, Littleton. We welcome family and friends to come together to honor Mike, share memories, and celebrate the incredible life of a man who meant so much to so many.
