Linda Boston passed from this life on Sept. 3, 2025, at the age of 78. Linda was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on Feb. 20, 1947, to Boyd and Virginia Farrow. Linda was married to Randy Boston on July 23, 1971, and they were married for 50 years until Randy’s death in 2021.
Before moving to Gunnison, Randy and Linda lived in Ennis, Texas where she was an English teacher until they had their three children. Then she was a stay-at-home mom. In August of 1986 they moved to Gunnison where Linda did various part-time jobs and then kept several children in her home. Linda was a member of the Gunnison Church of Christ. She was a unique force and left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Randy Boston, her father Boyd Farrow, her mother Virginia Stepp and her stepfather, Hugh Stepp.
Linda is survived by her daughter Melissa Weber (Chris), son Andy Boston, daughter Michelle Love (Tucker), granddaughters Aubrey Love, Adeline Love, and Ava Love, brother Frank Stepp (Nancy), nieces, nephews and many friends who loved her and will miss her. She is also survived by Scott and Mary Nordberg, Casey Nordberg (Sammie, Henry and Eddie), Carey Nordberg, Rylee Johnson (Dane) and Ryann Nordberg, a family by choice, though not by blood, that was, and will always be, considered family.
