The Hub by ICELab is giving Gunnison Valley businesses a place to expand without taking on the cost and commitment of a facility on their own.
Located at 1000 N. Main St. in Gunnison, The Hub is a facility offering warehouse, office, storage, shipping, coworking and meeting space. It opened in March 2026 as an expansion of ICELab’s work supporting entrepreneurs and businesses in the valley.
ICELab is the organization and service provider behind The Hub, providing connections, programming and resources to help businesses “start, stay and grow” in Gunnison County. While The Hub provides infrastructure, ICELab provides support to help businesses identify resources, make connections and overcome barriers to growth.
The model is focused on businesses that sell products or services beyond Gunnison County. Helping those companies grow brings money from outside the valley into the economy, creates local jobs and builds industries that can complement tourism.
Tourism has long been Gunnison County’s most successful export industry, but the Tourism and Prosperity Partnership, which oversees ICELab, is working to build industries alongside it. Growing businesses that bring outside dollars into the valley can create jobs and diversify the economy.
The Hub is intended for businesses that may have outgrown a home, garage or coworking space but are not ready to take on a commercial facility.
Its cooperative model allows businesses to pay for the space they need while sharing infrastructure such as warehouse and inventory space, shipping and receiving, a loading dock, offices, meeting rooms and flexible workspace.
The Hub also serves the community, hosting workshops, networking opportunities, business programming and events. Visitors are encouraged to stop by and see how the space brings local businesses together.
