Editor:
After wrapping up a fabulous 15th summer season and our Quinceañera year, Señorita Rita’s Rockin’ Reading Route Book Bus would like to thank this valleywide community for the many supporting grants and for the hundreds of eager readers.
Our grantors include the Gunnison Watershed School District, the Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley, the Gunnison Car Club, the GVPTA and CBPTA, Friends of the Library, Butch Clark, and many, many individuals and businesses who gave Venmo or cash donations and beautiful books. We can’t list every name here in this letter, but you know who you are.
One very special huge thank you to the Gunnison Rotary Club for moving a million books to the lovely new storage space. And, special thanks to the Book Bus Crew: Cecilia, Jackie, Audrey, Alexa, Maria, Evan and Jeni! This wouldn’t happen without you!
Donations are always needed and extremely helpful to keep the Rockin’ Reading Route rolling. Please consider supporting this program. Donations are accepted at Lake School, 800 N.Blvd, Gunnison. Thank you to everyone!
