With the holiday season just around the corner, Pitkin Hotel is preparing to bring people together with festive celebrations, comforting meals and gatherings for family, friends and co-workers.
The hotel’s Bon-Ton restaurant has a full calendar, beginning with its annual Halloween celebration, “A Haunting at the Bon-Ton,” Saturday, Oct. 31. This family-friendly gathering will feature a costume contest, indoor and outdoor activities, children’s crafts and games, cocktails and treats.
November brings the hotel’s annual Thanksgiving Feast Thursday, Nov. 26, featuring a traditional Southern Thanksgiving meal. Reservations are required, and guests can also order meals to take home. All takeout orders must be placed by Sunday, Nov. 15.
Families can welcome the season at Breakfast with Santa Dec. 5, complete with a pancake breakfast, photos with Santa, children’s crafts and games, and goodie bags. On Christmas Eve, the hotel will serve its annual prime rib dinner, with reservations required.
On New Year’s Eve, the hotel will host its annual dinner and celebration. The new year continues with a traditional New Year’s Day meal served all day Jan. 1.
Beyond its seasonal festivities, Pitkin Hotel is already booking private holiday gatherings and corporate parties. Hosts can choose private or semi-private spaces and customize menus to suit their celebrations.
“We’re already getting calls and taking reservations for some of our annual holiday events,” owner Pam Taylor said.
The Bon-Ton is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. It will be closed to the public on Christmas Day.
Guests can find event details and updates on the Pitkin Hotel website and on Facebook and Instagram at @Pitkin Hotel. Follow along for announcements, event information and reservation details as each celebration approaches.
Pitkin Hotel is part of the Gunnison Country Times Community Connect sponsored content program.
