Business Spotlight: Monte Vista Cooperative celebrates National Co-Op Month

As National Co-Op Month is celebrated across the country, Monte Vista Coop is proud to recognize the power of cooperation and the value it brings to our community.

Cooperative businesses are built on the principle of people helping people, and Monte Vista Coop continues that tradition by providing quality products, dependable services and local support to the San Luis Valley and surrounding areas.

Becoming a Monte Vista Coop member offers many benefits. The lifetime membership offers its members the opportunity to participate in the cooperative’s success and have a voice in its future. Membership also provides access to trusted products and services tailored to the needs of local farmers, ranchers, homeowners and families.

Monte Vista Coop is committed to strengthening our community through local investments, agricultural support, educational outreach and community involvement. From sponsoring youth programs and local events to supporting area producers, the cooperative works to make a positive impact beyond the store doors.

In addition to serving customers in person, the Monte Vista Coop maintains an active social media presence, keeping members and customers informed about promotions, seasonal products, agricultural tips, community events and cooperative news.
