Hyperwipe: The cleaning service built on caring for the community

When Natalia Linares first relocated to Gunnison in late 2021, opening a full-scale residential and commercial cleaning business was not one of her plans. Today, she owns and operates Hyperwipe—one of the highest-rated, most trusted, and most versatile cleaning services in the Gunnison Valley.

The path to establishing Hyperwipe was born out of adaptability. Drawing on her background selling food in her home country of Colombia, Linares initially explored launching a food service upon arriving in Gunnison. However, after finding that finding a daycare for her then-three-year-old daughter proved difficult, Linares was left at home and eager to contribute financially alongside her husband, Jorge Romero, who was then working in window and pressure washing. After navigating complex local food permit requirements, she decided to pivot away from the food sector and instead offered to help a neighbor by cleaning their home.

That initial cleaning job set off a rapid chain of word-of-mouth recommendations. Impressed by her meticulous attention to detail and work ethic, her neighbor shared her services with friends and family. As the client list expanded beyond what Linares could manage alone, she invited her aunt to join the operation. Eventually, the work became too much for even the two of them to handle, and she turned to her husband and the two made the decision that he would leave his job in pressure washing and join forces with Linares to formally found Hyperwipe.

Linares and Romero now lead a team of six full-time employees split into two teams that operate out of two company vehicles.. Hyperwipe serves over 50 regular private and commercial clients, offering customized scheduling options including weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or one-time deep cleanings, alongside specialized commercial maintenance and Airbnb turnover services.

Hyperwipe offers a wide variety of services to meet the needs of its customers. Beyond standard tidying, their services include commercial and residential cleaning, move-in/move-out cleanup, post-event cleanups, professional organization services, window screen repairs and replacements, and special requests. Every task is approached with precision, emphasizing high-quality care, thorough sanitation, and long-term client satisfaction.

“I don’t have just clients, I have friends,” said Linares. “I have a good relationship with all my clients. I’m not just going to clean your house and that’s it, I’m going to stay and talk to you and get to know you.”

This human-centered approach serves as a core aspect of Hyperwipe’s business model. For Linares and her team, every space they clean is a direct reflection of their pride in craftsmanship and their commitment to improving the quality of life for community members and businesses who depend on their work.

In addition to maintaining clean spaces, Hyperwipe places a strong emphasis on community stewardship. Linares actively collaborates with local initiatives, working closely with Gunnison Mentors and the City of Gunnison to support local families, youth programs, and civic projects wherever possible.

“We are so happy to live here and have the community that we have,” said Linares. “If we can give a little bit back, we do it.”

Among their giving-back initiatives is their annual giveaway program, which grants complimentary cleanings to local non-profits or community members that Hyperwipe feels deserve a nice little treat. While historically hosting one such giveaway per year, Hyperwipe is currently expanding the program to provide two free cleanings annually, a gesture that Linares considers a meaningful token of gratitude to the town that welcomed and supported her family.
