The Gunnison Country Chamber of Commerce announced this week that local businesses are opening their doors for special Sunday holiday hours. Sunday Shopping Strolls run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 7 and Dec. 14.
In other chamber news:
• The chamber’s annual open house and holiday party is set for 5:30 to 7 p.m. Dec. 11.
• The chamber is seeking visionary, community-minded leaders to serve on its board of directors, with two board positions opening in January. This is an opportunity to help guide the long-term direction of the business community, support local businesses and contribute to a vibrant, resilient downtown for years to come. If you are passionate about Gunnison’s future and want to play a meaningful role in shaping it, the chamber invites you to apply and lend your voice, perspective and leadership.
• Gunnison’s Night of Lights is in downtown Gunnison on Friday, Dec. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. The tree lighting is planned for 7 p.m.
