The Monte Vista Coop’s Summer Propane Fill Special is back, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most valuable seasonal deals for local households and agricultural customers.
Running from July 1 through August 31, the promotion gives community members a chance to secure propane at a reduced summer rate — an opportunity that becomes especially important as energy costs continue to fluctuate.
By filling tanks during the warm months, customers can lock in savings long before the first cold front arrives.
This annual program reflects the Monte Vista Coop’s long‑standing commitment to supporting the San Luis Valley with dependable service and practical cost‑saving options.
Propane users — whether heating homes, powering irrigation engines or fueling essential farm operations — benefit from both the discounted price and the Monte Vista Coop’s reliable delivery schedule.
The summer window also allows technicians to perform safe, efficient fills without the weather‑related delays that often occur later in the year.
Customers are encouraged to contact the Monte Vista Coop early to schedule their fill and take full advantage of the seasonal pricing.
The Summer Propane Fill Special continues to be one of the Monte Vista Coop’s most appreciated offerings, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in keeping local homes warm and agricultural operations running smoothly.
Since its founding in 1949, the Monte Vista Coop has been committed to serving the diverse needs of the San Luis Valley.
Beyond their valuable seasonal fill specials, the cooperative provides complete tank installation, scheduled route services and a convenient online portal for easy ordering. For added peace of mind, Monte Vista Coop also offers a dedicated after-hours hotline (719-852-7979) for propane outages.
