Lupine Loop Run planned for June 27

The Crested Butte Mountain Runners are holding the Lupine Loop Run on Saturday, June 27, at 9 a.m.  Run from the Gunsight Pass road down Slate River road to the Lupine 2 trail. Climb Lupine 2 and turn Left Up Smith Hill road to the Gunsight connector trail, then turn left and run down to Gunsight Pass road and back to the start.  

The distance is 5.5 miles (+908’), on single track trail and dirt roads with great views down into Slate River valley. Meet at the parking area on Gunsight Pass road, just off Slate River road about 4 miles north of Crested Butte. For trail maps and registration please visit www.cbmountainrunners.org
