League of Women Voters plans public meeting for April 14

The League of Women Voters hosts a public meeting at 11a.m., Tuesday, April 14, Gunnison County Public Library, 1 Quartz. Marketa Zubkova speaks on Juntos activities and community building; City of Gunnison Deputy Police Chief Frank Rodriquez will answer questions and have information about law enforcement; and from Public Works Pete Rice has a valuable update on progress toward the goal of becoming a sustainable energy community.
