Farm and garden poetry slam is March 28

A farm and garden poetry slam is planned for Saturday, March 28, at the Gunnison Arts Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. It is being hosted by Gunnison Valley Producers’ Guild.

A $10 donation is suggested at the door. Donations will support local producers in the Gunnison Valley.

Join your neighbors and local farmers on stage or in the audience as folks share original farm, garden and nature-based poems. The event will also feature a “Dress Like a Farmer” competition, so wear your dirtiest pair of overalls. Prizes will be awarded to standout poems and farmer costumes.

Pre-registration can be done at gvpg.org/event-info/farm-garden-poetry-slam-2026.
