Caucuses, assemblies are planned for March 7

Gunnison County Republicans and Democrats have their caucuses and assemblies planned for March 7. Here's information on both sets of plans:

Gunnison County Republican committee plans caucus and assembly

Gunnison County Republican Committee is holding caucus and assembly for all precincts on March 7 at Fred Field. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and closes at 8:59 a.m. Assembly will immediately follow caucus. Visit www.gunnisoncountyrepublicans.org for more information.

Local Democratic caucuses, assembly March 7

The Gunnison County Democratic Party is hosting its caucus and assembly meetings in person and by Zoom on Saturday, March 7. All registered Gunnison County Democrats are welcome to attend and participate. Caucus registrations start at 8 a.m. and the caucuses begin at 8:30 either at the Crested Butte Town Hall for those who live north of Almont (Precincts 1 - 5) or the Gunnison Public Library for those who live in Almont or south of Almont (Precincts 6 - 15). 

If you can’t attend in person, you can attend via Zoom with pre-registration at  gunnisondemocrats.org. Each county precinct has its own caucus, and you will learn which precinct you are in during the registration process.

You must attend your caucus (or have someone at the caucus nominate you) to attend the assembly. The assembly takes place at the Gunnison Public Library, 1 Quartz Street in Gunnison. Lunch will be served at 12 p.m., with our meeting to commence immediately after.
