Looking for a way to ring in 2025 in style? The Gunnison Valley is the place to be. Here are 10 options to spend your New Year's Eve your way.

If you’re hoping to head into 2026 with a full stomach, Gunnison has you covered. Garlic Mike’s is offering a five-course dining experience. There are three seating options, 5, 6:30, and 8 p.m. The experience is $84 per person, and ends with live music and potential to dance off your meal in time for the next seating and still be in bed before the ball drops. Bar 47 at the Almont Resort is also offering a fixed-price New Years Eve dinner at $65 dollars per person. Blackstock Bistro is open for a special NYE menu and a raw bar, courtesy of chef Luke Martin. And if you’re looking for something a little different, 1880 Tapas & Spirits is having a New Year’s Eve celebration from 5:45 to 9 p.m. at $150 per ticket serving a five-course tasting menu. The ticket price includes dinner, wine pairings, tax and gratuity, and the bar is open for additional drink purchases.

There are also a few dancing options for revelers. DJ Mijo will be performing an era-to-era dance beat experience at Jose from 2 until 5:30 p.m., perfect for after a day on the slopes. In terms of after-work beats, Sage Grouse Lounge is hosting a NYE party as an extension of their Pulse DJ series. From 9 p.m. until 1 a.m., dance to DJ Walter Balltell and David Miramon with a champagne toast at midnight. But don’t forget about happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m., and stop in before the party to watch the Nuggets at 5:30 p.m. and the Avalanche at 7 p.m.

There’s no shortage of options for live music and entertainment in the Gunnison Valley, too. End the year supporting local musicians in your favorite local bars. Jim Davidson will be playing his finger pickin’ blues at the Elevation’s billy barr from 5 to 7 p.m. and again from 8 to 10 p.m.. The Whammy Bar, 126 N. Main St., is Gunnison’s newest hot spot. They're finishing off the year strong by highlighting some of the valley’s most popular new bands. Head in at 6 p.m. to see Coal Creek Connection and 9:30 p.m. for Sugarbush, who are also performing at the Sage Grouse Lounge on Dec. 30. Zuni West Brewing will be hosting the Floodgate Operators for their album release party from 8 p.m. until midnight. Head on up to Crested Butte South for a little bluegrass and a few beers. Empathy Protocol will be playing at the Gunnison Elks lodge. Tickets are $10 and they’re set to play from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.
