Why vote in 2026?

Do you want to show up in your own life? Do you want to fight for what is right? Or are you willing to let others decide what you can do?
These are important questions. And you can have a say in their answers.  But if you don't vote, others will be the ones to answer them for you.

There is a lot of frustration with our leaders right now, but are we ready to give up?  Or are we ready to work for something better?  Not voting is a sign of not caring about what happens.  We can all have a say in what happens to our families, our communities, our state and nation, and our world.   If you think you are too small to make a difference, try spending the night in a tent with a single mosquito.
There are values that we taught our children in kindergarten: honesty, sharing, listening, helping, and no biting.  We need to have a government that follows these values too.  We need to vote for a government with integrity.

Let's show the world that Gunnison County can have 100% of its voters mailing their ballots or at the polls this year. To quote Margaret Mead: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

See you at the primary polls in June and the general election polls in November.
