When did we lose our humanity?

I’m just a woman sitting in the cold pondering life and looking into the stars. I’m wondering when we lost our humanity. Maybe it was when we stopped talking to our neighbors and stopped being communities. Or was it because we started letting others tell us what to think?

This is not Republican or Democrat, or right or left. This is a right or wrong problem. This is a human problem. I do not care what your party is or how or who you worship, and neither should anyone else. That’s part of the problem. Stop minding everyone else’s business and mind the business of what the government is doing with our money. It should be blatantly obvious.

“We the people” means everyone and so does “liberty and justice for all.” And those of you cheering on the injustice, well good luck. I am a firm believer in you get back what you put out. And sleep well on that.

And those of you wishing for a civil war or something similar, I don’t think you have lived through one. And those of you who relish in the suffering of others I pray it doesn’t come to your door.

One thing I will tell you, I believe our “leaders” all stopped being a government for the people some time ago and I mean both sides. So don’t come at me defending one or the other. If they keep us fighting amongst ourselves, it will continue.

So, sit with that, do what you do what you choose. But for the sake of humanity sit with it and ponder it. Because some of y’all sure need to.
