Alex Kelloff has been part of the private ranchings and public lands for four generations. He and his family have lived, ran cattle, hunted, fished and worked with the local communities from Trinidad, the San Luis Valley and to the Wyoming border.
He is one of the few candidates running in the western United States who is making public lands part of his campaign in serving the citizens of the Third Congressional District.
Those public lands include: 20 million acres of National Forests, Bureau of Land Management and National Parks; the lands that are the headwaters and source of Colorado's major rivers; and the lands that generate over $30 billion dollars in hunting, fishing, river running, hiking and wildlife watching. This is western Colorado's economy and the heart of our home and lifestyle.
