Rotary Club hopes to add to its grants

Editor:

Elsewhere in this week's paper, you'll see a list of the awards made by the Rotary Club of Gunnison to nine wonderful organizations serving low-income youth this summer.

$8,500 is the largest grants budget we've had - but it still doesn't stretch very far. For example, a $1,000 award might only serve 2-3 kids.

If any reader - either personally or via their business - would care to add to a given award so that more kids could be helped, I welcome them to contact me. I could fill them in on the organization and offer details about what they plan to do.  My email is dustinwhite121@gmail.com.
