We know that it goes without saying that this winter has felt a little extra challenging around here. We remain hopeful, however, and grateful to call this beautiful place home, grateful to be part of this community, and grateful simply to be here, doing what we do. We of Crested Butte Ski Patrol are looking forward to hosting our 44th annual Attitude Adjustment party and invite you all to join us on Feb. 7 at the Crested Butte Center for the Arts, featuring live music from The Motet. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., music starts at 7 p.m. and Burnell’s Food Truck will be onsite for some tasty bites.
While we certainly love a good party, this event is much more than that. Originally started to raise money for a ski patroller who sustained life-altering injuries, this event has since grown to support any Gunnison Valley community member facing devastating tragedy or financial hardship. Being part of a community means looking out for one another, uplifting those amongst us who are going through difficult times, and it means coming together both in times of strife and joy. If you know of anyone in the Gunnison Valley community experiencing tough times who could really use some assistance this year, please send us their information. All proceeds will be donated directly to these community members, giving back to the very place and people we are proud to call home.
To purchase tickets or to nominate a community member for grant assistance, please visit the event website at: cbsp.betterworld.org.
Email cbspcommunityfund@gmail.com with any questions.
We hope to see you all there.
Jack Morgan on behalf of Crested Butte Ski Patrol and the CBSP Community Fund
