Summer is bringing fresh flavors and new experiences to the Pitkin Hotel as the Bon-Ton Bistro unveils an updated menu and Venue 1904 prepares to welcome guests back for another season of outdoor dining and entertainment.
The Bon-Ton Bistro’s new menu blends returning customer favorites with several new additions.
Among the highlights is the signature Bon-Ton Burger, featuring a Skanga brisket-chuck blend topped with fried onions, fried jalapeños, bacon, Gruyère cheese and house-made Jack Daniel’s smoked barbecue sauce, served with house-cut fries.
Guests can also look forward to a rotating selection of chef’s choice steaks throughout the summer and fall. All steaks are cut in-house and offered at market price, allowing the kitchen to feature a variety of cuts throughout the season.
The bistro is also continuing its popular Wednesday night specials throughout the summer for the first time. One of the most popular winter specials, Fish & Chips, has earned a permanent place on the menu and will now be available daily.
Venue 1904 is officially open for the season, serving wood-fired pizzas and calzones alongside a full bar. The outdoor restaurant, bar and event space is open daily from 2 to 9 p.m., with happy hour offered daily from 3 to 5 p.m.
New this year is a Saturday seafood boil beginning at 4 p.m. The first-come, first-served event will continue until sold out each week.
Saturday evenings will also feature live music from 6 to 9 p.m. Additional events and activities are planned throughout the summer and fall, and the venue is available for private bookings.
The Bon-Ton Bistro is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 329 Main St. For more information, visit pitkinhotel.com or call 970-641-8802.
