ICE is being painted with a broad brush as being all out evil. It stands for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The degree of ICE enforcement was made necessary by the Biden/Harris administration. The cities and states that fight against ICE only embolden the resistance and making matters worse. From every corner of the globe, they came.
Before Trump, Obama was known as deporter in chief. No one really complained then.
The same people who think socialism and communism is a good idea also think world migration and no borders is a good idea.
So, what do we have? Homeless camps, foreign gang activity, and a drain on Medicaid, our hospitals and ER's. Food SNAP benefits, housing costs and welfare systems are being depleted. There are over 250,000 missing and exploited children and individuals harming innocent citizens for money or other unspeakable acts. We have non-English speaking illegal semi drivers on our roads, increased drug trafficking, prostitution and rampant government fraud. Not all immigrants, of course, but too many for sure. This is not some mean-spirited opinion about humanity. It is in the news every day.
My mother was from England. Years ago, she migrated legally and became a citizen of the United States. She went to class and learned about the constitution and our form of government. She raised her right hand and took the required Oath of Allegiance to the United States of America to finally become a citizen. I say it again, Oath of Allegiance.
She knew more than the average citizen. How can a citizen of our country advocate for no ICE, no supreme court, no congress, no president, no law enforcement, no bail, no rule of law, no prisons and even no Thanksgiving as we are now hearing?
If there are no consequences for breaking the law, then the laws become inconsequential and chaos becomes law. We are seeing it play out already with the well-placed attorneys general throughout our nation. Nefarious people can and will do whatever they feel like.
Scripture teaches that we are to obey our respective governments, because they were put in place and allowed by God.
Even the Babylonians and old King Nebuchadnezzar were a tool of God as punishment for a disobedient nation that did what was right in their own eyes for far too long.
How can anyone preach in opposition of scripture? Yes, we are to have compassion for our fellow man, but we also have to have order and respect for our rule of law when people immigrate here. Had Biden and Harris considered that, they would not have thrown open the flood gates to millions of totally unvetted people. So why did they? That is the bigger concern here than US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. I hope we figure it out before it is everlastingly too late.
