GMS sixth-graders thank community, businesses

I wanted to reach out and thank our amazing community members and businesses for helping Gunnison Middle School sixth-graders complete three hours of community service for their annual “Helping Out” project this school year. Each year the GMS sixth grade students are required to help someone out, other than a friend or family member, for three hours outside of school. 

This project could not be successful without the support of local people, neighbors, businesses and organizations. Thank you so much for allowing our students to experience what it means to give back and donate their time to help out a place in a community that does so much for them. I sincerely apologize if I have left any business or organizations out that was a part of this project this year.
