Club America students ‘responded with faith’

Posted

Editor: Last week across the country students walked out of class to protest ICE.

They were told it was "courage" and "leadership."

But courage isn't protesting the enforcement of our laws – it's standing for the country that protects them.

Instead of walking out, Club America students responded with faith, gathering at their schools with bowed heads and hands joined to pray for their classmates, their communities, and the country they love.

It began in Peoria, Arizona, where Centennial High School students stepped forward and chose prayer. In Midlothian, Virginia, the announcement of an ICE walkout became a turning point. Instead of leaving class, students organized a morning prayer for their school and nation.

In the days that followed, students across the nation did the same - they came together before class choosing prayer over protest.

I'm proud of these students.

They were passionate and engaged, and they weren't afraid to stand firm in their convictions.

Gen Z is strong.

This is student leadership done right.

Outside of the "Crested Butte Bubble" and the one-sided national press, there is a revival of students returning to the word of God and a resurgence of patriotism for our country, the freest country ever to exist on the planet. Several states have already committed to starting a Club America chapter in every school district.
