Western Wrestling — The defending RMAC champion Western Colorado University wrestling team kept its conference record spotless on the season as the Mountaineers defeated No. 12 San Francisco State University (SFSU) 31-21 on Thursday at Brownson Arena.

Playoffs are right around the corner, and the Crested Butte High School (CBHS) hockey team will need to get back to their winning ways if they hope to make it. Currently the Titans are ranked No. 26 in the Colorado High School Activities Association RPI standings — two spots out from qualifying — after suffering back-to-back losses to Glenwood Springs and Battle Mountain. CBHS fell to the Devils 5-2 on Friday on the road and the Huskies 4-2 on Saturday at home. Graham Barrett and Joseph Stock were the only Titans to find the back of the net in the two games, each scoring one goal in each contest.
