GHS Girls Basketball — The Gunnison High School (GHS) girls basketball team’s season ended on a sad note Tuesday night. GHS fell to the Delta Panthers in the district tournament.

From skiing on small hills in Illinois to competing in the Ski Mountaineering World Cup in Italy, Western State Colorado University graduate Cameron Smith has accomplished a lot in the past few years.

Crested Butte Hockey — The Crested Butte Titans varsity hockey team travelled to Denver to take on the Castle View Sabercats Feb. 9-10. The two teams entered the matchup with nearly identical records, each team with eight league wins.

For the sixth time this season, a game for the U19 West Elk Hockey Association ended in a tie on Sunday. The Wolverines hosted Vail for their final home games this past weekend but were unable to come away with a win.
