CBHS Soccer — A week off may have hurt the Crested Butte High School (CBHS) girls soccer team. After all, the Titans only narrowly defeated the Telluride Miners 3-2 Tuesday in Gunnison — extending their winning streak to five games.

CBHS Soccer — The Crested Butte High School (CBHS) girls soccer team dominated yet another opponent on Thursday, April 12, going into spring break on a four-game winning streak.

 

From professional basketball to public speaking, Adrian Branch stands out — quite literally — among the crowd. The 6-foot, 7-inch guard and forward starred at the University of Maryland from 1981 to 1985, where he led the Terrapins to an Athletic Coast Conference Championship.

GHS Baseball — Road woes continued this past weekend for the Gunnison High School (GHS) baseball team. The Cowboys traveled to Eaton High School to compete in a varsity tournament, first falling to La Junta before succumbing to Highlands.

CBHS Soccer — The Crested Butte Soccer team (CBHS) increased their winning streak to three games this past weekend after defeating Ignacio 10-0 and Montezuma-Cortez 2-1. Both games were in Gunnison.

GHS Baseball — It didn’t take long for the Gunnison High School (GHS) baseball squad to show they were the better team this past Saturday. The Cowboys destroyed Grand Valley High School 24-0 at home.
