James Byron Rosenlieb passed from this life on June 11 at his home in Tulsa, Okla. Jim was born on July 29, 1937, in Sistersville, W. Va., to Floyd James and Marjorie Cline Rosenlieb. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Justin Lee Wilkerson, 40, a long-time resident of Gunnison, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, June 22, at his home in Montrose. Justin was born on March 2, 1978, in Scott City, Kan. He was fond of his family and friends. He loved music, performing with his band and reading.
Beverly (Leonard/Herrick) Field passed away March 14, 2018 in Cummings, Ga., after a short illness. Family and friends will be gathering on July 5 to celebrate Beverly's life. A headstone unveiling service will take place at 12:30 p.m.
W. Roger Miller, 80, of Missoula, Mont., formerly of Gunnison, passed away on June 7. Services are planned and will be announced. A full obituary will follow. Arrangements are under the care of Garden City Funeral Home.

James" Shoey" Schoenmakers, 91, went to heaven to be met by his wife, Mildred; mother, Mary; father, William; brother, Henry; and sisters, Annie, Mary, Helen and Jean on May 17.
Makin’ tracks or sleepin’, George Ernest Means filled 92 years just as full as can be. Born in Moffat in 1926 to Ernest and Ida Means, George hit the ground at a run and never slowed up.
Roberta May Gibbs, nee Flick, died in the Lewiston, Idaho hospital on May 22, the date of her 95th birthday. She had fallen, breaking a hip, and died during the corrective surgery. She was a native of Colorado, having been born in Gunnison to the late Raleigh and Margret Flick.
Bev, a beautiful wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma and friend died at home in Green Valley, Ariz., on Mother’s Day 2018. Bev had a long relationship with the Quartz Creek Valley.
Mary Elaine Sheker was born on Sept. 15, 1929, in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Vince and Edna Sheker (deceased). Her formative years were on a farm where she learned to appreciate everything in the outdoors.
