Paul Guerrieri, a resident of Pueblo West, Colo., passed away on Oct. 16. He was born on Feb. 4, 1942 in Crested Butte to Albert and Louise Guerrieri. He graduated from Gunnison High School and went to college at Western Colorado University. He married Peggy L. Price of Olathe on Aug.
Louise D. Cross, summer resident of Almont since 1984, died peacefully in her sleep at her home in El Paso, Texas on Sept. 26. She was born in El Paso on January 8, 1922. She met her husband Ralph there and became a supportive Army wife. She traveled the world, including all 50 states.
Paul Guerrieri passed away on Oct. 16. Services will be held on Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church in Gunnison with a reception to follow at the Fairgrounds. Full obituary to follow next week.
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we inform you that we have lost our beloved wife, mother and friend, Bonnie Sue Cook. Bonnie lost her long fight against ovarian cancer early in the morning of Oct. 9. She was surrounded by her family in her home and was never alone.
In the midst of the deadly Spanish-flu epidemic and seven years following the marriage of her immigrant parents, Costanzo Baudana and Rosa Migone, Inez Baudana Albertella Digiuseppe became their first and only child on Oct. 17, 1918. Life, however, didn’t go as planned.
William Eric Soerensen, age 67, “shuffled off this mortal coil” on Sept. 25 following a tremendous battle with pancreatitis. Born Nov. 8, 1950 in Princeton, Ind., he was the youngest of three children from Howard and Alice Soerensen.
Ina M. Gerkey Roberts passed away on Sept. 17 at the age of 84, following a two year battle with cancer. Born in East Prussia in 1934, her family fled to Germany ahead of the Russian invasion. While growing up in Germany she was a fashion model, dental hygienist, and librarian.
