Jim Yale, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother went to be with his Lord Jan. 21, 2021 in Plano, Texas. Jim was born Nov. 12, 1938 in Scottsbluff, Neb., but grew up in Gunnison, Colo., where he followed in the family CPA business after graduating from Western State College.

Jean Lee Vader, 88, of Montrose passed away on Jan. 31 at Valley Manor Care Center.

Rikki Santarelli

Rikki Santarelli completed his race and was called home early in the morning Jan. 21, 2021. He was home asleep when he awoke with chest pains. His transition from us was short and merciful. Rikki and his wife Gail were one week shy of celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

Robert (Bob) Charles Goodnough, Jr was welcomed into heaven on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Affectionately known as “Fossil,” “Gramps” and “Pape he dedicated his life to his family, his country and his career.

Alan Holmquist

It was late summer in 1976 when Al pulled into town in his distinctive blue 1954 Jeep pickup, the logo of the Forest Queen Hotel and Restaurant already adorning both the doors. He had partnered with Barry Cornman and was ready to lay down roots in this unique community affectionately called The Butte.

Michell Ferguson

Michell Ferguson of Gunnison passed away peacefully on Dec. 30, 2020 after a long and hard-fought battle with metastatic ovarian cancer. She was 46. Michell was also a survivor of brain cancer since 2000 which claimed over 50% of her
