Wolfgang Taylor, one of the great kickers in NCAA history, passed away Feb. 19. Wolfgang played at Western from 1971-1975 and set the all time NCAA record (all Divisions) for points scored as a kicker. He broke the record on the last game of the season in 1975 against Colorado Mines. He kicked a 52 yard field goal late in the game. When Western got a 5-yard penalty, he kicked a 57-yarder to break the record. Rest in peace, Wolfgang.
