Four years ago, out of frustration, I wrote one of my first pieces of commentary for the Times. The topic? The intersection of Main and Tomichi.

You can imagine my disbelief as I sit and pen yet another piece on the same topic years later when I could be celebrating the Boston Bruins’ game seven victory.

The safety issues at Main and Tomichi are well known, and during a meeting Tuesday between Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) officials and Gunnison County Commissioners, the notorious intersection resurfaced several times.
