Henry Ford is alleged to have told his early day Model T customers that they could have any color car they wanted, as long as it was black.

Mr. Ford undeniably launched a revolution, not only in the industrial efficiency of the assembly line but, perhaps more importantly, in how humans live. With the power of individual automotive transport suddenly at everyone’s fingertips, Americans’ “Born to be Free” ethos really took off.
