Notch back-to-back shutouts at home

CBHS Hockey — Finding the back of the net wasn’t something the Crested Butte High School (CBHS) hockey team had trouble with this past weekend. They demolished Summit High School 5-0 on Friday — and 6-0 on Saturday.

“Credit goes to the coaches, especially William Watson, for having a great game plan to counter summit,” said CBHS goalie Shaughn Rourke. “It was nice to win in such a dominant way against our former coach.”

The Tigers are coached by former Titans head coach Joey Otsuka.

While the Titans were in control for the entirety of both games, physical play was at hand — resulting in a fight on the ice at the end of the first game.
