Western grad teams up with Tributary for Thanksgiving

A woman visiting from Arizona donated $100 on the spot. Others offered plates and silverware. Residents in Gunnison brought turkeys and other delectable treats — all for a local Thanksgiving feast at Tributary Coffee Roasters on Main Street.

“It’s been a dream of mine,” explained recent Western Colorado University graduate Morgan Milmore. “Ever since I was a little girl, when I was 4 months old my mom literally strapped me to her and served people on Thanksgiving.”

Offering a helping hand practically since birth, Milmore is no stranger to service. While earning her dual-degree in psychology and political science with a minor in philosophy, Milmore also strived to serve the community in a multitude of ways.
