Western Cross Country —

They say the most dangerous team isn’t one that has been dominant all season, but the one that reaches its stride at the right time.

Perhaps the Western Colorado University cross country team can relate as they prepare to head to the NCAA Division II Championships in Sacramento, Calif.

Coming off back-to-back top-three performances from both men’s and women’s teams — at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Championships and NCAA Division II South Central Region Cross Country Championships — Western looks like a team worth keeping an eye on.
