Spencer, my 15-year-old son, and I recently took our written driver’s test together. I went first and I failed. Learning from my mistakes, he passed.
Granted, I take exception to some of the questions our state’s driving overlords throw at people embarking upon the perilous path of licensure — some seemingly derived more out of deceit than a demand to demonstrate knowledge actually useful to being behind the wheel.
