The sky has been bluer the past few days than it has been all summer. Must be that fall is in the air.

I spent the better part of the weekend traipsing around in the high country — Saturday north of Crested Butte, Sunday south of Gunnison — and the colors confirm it. That, and the chill that lingered in the morning air Tuesday after another 30-something-degree night with the windows open.
