On the morning of Sept. 23, 2019, Lois Faye Wilson of Powderhorn passed away peacefully in her home.

Lois Faye was an avid mystery reader and gardener, she enjoyed needlework and making hand knit sweaters and afghans for her loved ones.

Lois Faye spent her entire life in the Powderhorn Valley, living the ranch life she so enjoyed. She delighted in watching the hummingbirds and other wildlife around the ranch.

Lois Faye is survived by her five children — David, Greg (Jeanette), Kenny (Helene), Audrey Dirksen (Chris), and Pat Ritchie (John).

She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Lois Faye is preceded in death by her husband Bill Wilson and her grandson Evan Dirksen. She is also preceded in death by her four siblings, Vern McNeill, Edna McNeill, Dorothy Andrews and C.A. McNeill parents Corbin and Annie McNeill.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m. in the Powderhorn Cemetery. Potluck to follow at Powderhorn Community Center.
