GHS Volleyball — The Gunnison High School (GHS) volleyball team showed how dangerous they can be when everything is clicking as it should. This past Saturday, the 6-4 Cowboys defeated Moffat County in three sets (25-19, 25-13 and 25-19) at home.
“Beating Moffat was another step toward our goal of making it to Regionals,” said head coach Shana Benson. “We have a goal of committing fewer unforced errors from the previous games, and the ladies did a great job of executing that goal.”
GHS got going early in the first set, racing out to a 5-1 lead, thanks to Jaycee Fuller and Kylie Travis kills and two service aces from Karis Copenhaver.
