Colemon Lynn Krizmanich left us too soon on Oct. 29, 2019 at 57 years old. Colemon was born Oct. 16, 1962 in Gunnison, Colo., to Charles and Myrna (Hainer) Krizmanich. The family moved to Olathe, Colo., when Colemon was very young, where he graduated from high school in 1981. He later moved to Eastern Colorado.
Colemon had many passions in his life, as a young man he enjoyed team roping and rodeo, making the NHSRA National Finals on more than one occasion. In later years you could find him in the mountains hunting with his father and brother or on the lake fishing with his close friends. Colemon will be remembered for his selfless and giving nature, and his ability to brighten a gathering with his quick wit and laughter.
He is survived by his parents Charles Krizmanich and Myrna Hainer; wife Peggy; Sister Charla (Zane) Farris; brother Gene Krizmanich; as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and many close friends.
A celebration of Colemon’s life and potluck will be held on Dec. 14 in Gunnison at 1 p.m. at the Gunnison County Fairgrounds.
