Team moves to 4-3 on the season

CBHS Hockey — A slow start to Saturday’s game was the deciding factor for the Crested Butte High School (CBHS) hockey team, which squared off against the No. 5 ranked Chaparral Wolverines.

CBHS (4-3) entered the game on a two-game win streak but was unable to slow down the offense of the Wolverines (5-1-1) — resulting in four goals scored in the first period.

Chaparral scored the first goal with 14:39 left to play in the first period — and scored their next goal nearly two minutes later. Half way through the period, the Wolverines got on the board again before scoring their final goal of the game with 2:12 left.
