Bradley Ray Martinez

Brad was born on Sept. 22, 1961, to parents Gerald and Diana Martinez. He died Nov. 15, 2017, of complications from several long-term health conditions.

He lived in Gunnison with his family from 1966-75, where his father Gerry was a range conservationist with the U.S. Forest Service.

Brad worked in real estate in Pagosa Springs for a number of years, and resided in Aztec, N.M. at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerry, in 2005 and his sister Cindy Martinez Johnson in 2006. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Barge of Colorado Springs; sons Sam of Bellingham, Wash., and Max of Durango; granddaughters Emma and Hailey Barge; his older brother, Kirk, of Naples, Fla., who was a graduate of Western State College in the ’80s; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his mother, Diana Martinez (409 Sandia Court, Aztec, N.M., 81417; 505.334.2414).
