A recent article in the Times by Alan Wartes on the Colorado State Water Plan piqued my interest — because of a possible solution to the state’s water shortfall that the plan leaves unexplored.

Gunnison team hosts invitational swim meet

Echos of encouragement could be heard from down the hall. Inside Paul Wright Gym at the indoor pool, the range of colors and sounds resembled a circus. But there weren’t any elephants or tigers. There were, however, just more than 100 aerobic beasts of varying shapes and sizes — 120 to be exact. They spanned in age from 4 to 17, and in loosefitting tights or colorful swim suits they dove into the pool every few minutes.
