Water managers still anticipating strong year

What a difference a year makes. Water managers have crunched the numbers in anticipation of this year’s runoff of snowmelt. They report that a relatively strong snowpack this past winter is expected to yield more water in local streams than has been the case for the last two seasons. Warm weather has already resulted in a start to the runoff season — about a month earlier than is typical.
