A final determination for whether the Gunnison Sage-grouse warrants protect ion under the Endangered Species Act won’t occur by May 12 as previously planned. A six-month extension on that de adline was approved Tuesday. However, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) officials did signal this week the direction they may be leaning.
