A great story line. Breathtaking scenery. And 10 High Definition (HD) cameras, including one specially mounted to the bottom of a helicopter, to take it all in.

That was the basic thinking of Frank Matson, founder and CEO of Citizen Pictures, when he decided he was going to go out on a limb and create a high dollar documentary about a relatively obscure mountain bike race called the Leadville 100.

People aren’t known for flocking to theaters to watch a movie about mountain bikers. But that’s what they’ve done for “Race Across the Sky.”
